Aside from the bodily pleasures, we would like to spoil you with musical and cultural titbits.

We offer our guests a permanent "vernisage" of paintings, tapestry and batik Cape Verdean artists of rank and name, who mostly live in Mindelo on the island of São Vicente. The entire reception hall and the bar area are decorated with these works of art, which of course can also be purchased.

"Whosoever does not know the music of the country, does not know the people of the country", or so an old Cape Verdean proverb goes. Music and music directions such as the nostalgic Morna, the lively Coladeira and the rhythmic Funana are regular components of Cape Verdean traditions.

Our establishment is periodically visited by local artists. Musical evenings are no exception.
